Research and Industrial Insight: Toxicology

Himani Pandey

Abstract

Toxicology is the scientific learning of antagonistic special effects that happens in living creatures due to chemicals. It comprises of perceiving and reporting symptoms, contrivances, detection and treatments of poisonous constituents, in a specific relation to the poisoning of human beings. It is a field of science that contains the collection, interpretation, and storage of information about gene and protein activity surrounded by particular cell or tissue of a creature in response to toxic constituents. Toxicogenomics syndicates toxicology with genomics or other great output of molecular profiling technologies such as transcriptomics, proteomics and metabolomics. Toxicogenomics happenings to elucidate molecular mechanisms progressed in the expression of toxicity, and to originate molecular expression patterns (i.e., molecular biomarkers) that envisage toxicity or the chromosomal susceptibility to it.
