Abstract

A 25 years old young male visits the neurological OPD at Punjabi university Patiala, to resolve his complaint of difficulty in performing activities with the right hand. He also has difficulty in walking in a crowded place and some speech problems. The problems are present as remnants of head trauma. The problems have effect on the activities of daily living. In this case report an effort has been made to bring to light the outcomes of “task and context related” approach in rehabilitation of a post traumatic head injury patient. This study provides an example of how experience changes the brain (i.e., so that some tasks have more functional importance than others), which in turn changes the effects of experience.
