In this work the Designing and Performance Analysis of a 405 nm InGaN based multi quantum well (MQW) Violet Laser have been presented. The internal designing of 405nm Violet Laser has been done with appropriate calculation. The desired wavelength of 405nm was obtained by adjusting the exact concentration of In0.0979Ga0.9021N /Al0.07Ga0.93N. The effects on Rate Equations by varying the differential gain and Injection current have been observed. Also the optimization of the Performance Parameters for Maximum Output Power and Modulation response are presented here. For the desired wavelength of 405 nm with Injection current of 120 mA, Threshold Current of 8.7 mA and differential gain of 4×10-16 cm2 the output power has obtained 228.5 mW. For better Performance of Violet Laser Differential Quantum Efficiency has been calculated 67.02%. A key feature of this work is the extensive use of MATLAB. All modification of the designs, comparisons and performance analysis were proposed in this work by using MATLAB. All the simulations, optimization, calculation have been done in room temperature of 300 K.Keywords: Differential Gain; Injection Current; Output Power; Resonance Frequency; Modulation Bandwidth; MQW Violet LaserPublicado
