A Study on Economic Dispatch Solution with Environmental Issue Using Genetic Algorithm
Resumo
This paper attempts to solve the problem of economic load dispatch (ELD) keeping in view the environmental issue of ever increasing pollution which leads to the various health issues. It is important to check and control the emission as well. Besides the classical ELD constraints, valve point loading effect and emission constraints are also considered and generators are scheduled for the most optimum solution. The researcher attempts to study the optimization of generating cost and emission using genetic algorithm toolbox in Matlab. In this research study a balance between emission and economic value is obtained with combined economic emission dispatch (CEED) in genetic algorithm.
