Abstract

Automation systems are getting popularity now days and are being used at various places. This proposed system focuses on the need of the handicapped people and also can control home appliances from outdoor as well as indoor location which is the main aim of this project. It is able to control electrical appliances by using android App, but it can be designed for specific application depending on the user’s needs, while reducing the electricity wastage by giving user the power to control, conserve and react according to his needs. In this system, home appliances are controlled by GSM (global system for mobile communication) technology and Wi-Fi technology. GSM is used in cases when controlling is necessary from long distance from a home and Wi-Fi is used when controlling from nearby the home.
