Abstract

In Indian art, Indian painting has been coming for long time tradition in Indian history.  Indian paintings were  seem in the rock painting of pre-historic times and many paintings the petro glyphs as found in the places as Bhimbetka rock shelters. In some stone, the rock paintings were found among the Bhimbetka rock shelters in 35000 year old approximately. India's Buddhist literature is replete with examples of texts which describe palaces of the army and the aristocratic class embellished with paintings, but the paintings of the Ajanta Caves are the most significant of the few survivals. Smaller scale painting in manuscripts was probably also practiced in this period, though the earliest survivals are from the medieval period. Rajasthan is found as pioneer seats of miniature paintings in India. Rajasthani paintings are reflecting continuity to great tradition of Ajanta murals and Jain art of Gujrat state.  This initial art style, which manifests in its most evolved form in the Bhagavata paintings rendered at Palam in 1566 and reflects in all subsequent major or minor art styles of Rajasthan, is a blend of indigenous art forms and the elements of the art traditions of Ajanta and Gujarat. Kishangarh is a town and a municipality in Ajmer district in the Indian state of Rajasthan. Mr. Bhagirath Choudhary is a present MLA for the period from 2013–2018. He also assisted previously in 2003-2008. It lies 18 miles north-west of Ajmer. It is well linked through Indian Railways and National Highway 8. It is the native land of the Kishangarh style of painting, which is well-known for the beautiful representations of a courtesan known as Bani Thani. In latest years, Kishangarh has come to be recognized as the ‘Marble City of India’. It is supposed to be the solitary place in the world with a temple (holy place) of nine planets. Kishangarh State was founded by the Jodhpur prince Kishan Singh in 1609.Prior to the rule of Kishan Singh this area was ruled by Maharaja Samokhan Singh who was a distant relative of Kishan Singh's family and grandfather of Naubat Khan. The ruling family of Kishangarh and the family of Naubat Khan had close ties. Maharaja Samokhan lost to the forces of Akbar and his grandson Naubat Khan was kept under house arrest. Naubat Khan later accepted Islam. Kishangarh is a city and a municipality in Ajmer district in the Indian state of Rajasthan. It was founded by Kishan Singh, a younger brother of RajaSur Singh of Jodhpur in circa 1609 and is the birth place of the Kishangarh style of paintings, which is known for the beautiful depiction of a courtesan known as Bani Thani. Keywords: Radha, Kishangarh (Rajasthan state), painting, colour, tone, brush, gold, clothes, odhini, Bani ThaniCite this Article Kumari and Sharma.
