Abstract

Developing or improving productivity has proven to be a key driver of industrial growth of any nation. In order for our industries to remain competitive in an increasingly complex and demand global market, there is every need to seek ways to manage their businesses effectively and efficiently. This paper therefore examines how productivity development strategies could be a catalyst for rapid industrial growth in the Nigerian economy. The paper attempts to look at the following components as part of development strategies in an organization productivity awareness, organizational diagnosis, and productivity improvement tools, setting up of productivity champions, monitoring, and evaluation of organization performance.Cite this Article Oloketuyi JI.
