PVT Properties of Alternate PUREX diluent 4,4-Dipropyl Heptane

4,4-Dipropyl Heptane (Hydrogenated propylene tetramer) is an alternate diluent for PUREX process, employed for reprocessing of spent nuclear fuel. Its PVT properties are not available in literature. With group contribution method, PVT properties of 4,4-dipropyl heptane were estimated and reported in this work. A corresponding- states based equation as well as Wagner constants were also reported in the range of 273.15K to critical temperature.
