A Scientometric Study on IEEE/ASME Transactions on Mechatronics
Abstract
This paper presents the Scientometric analysis of the journal IEEE Transactions on Mechatronics between the period 2008 and 2012. This study mainly covers the authorship pattern, number of articles, citations and the number of pages. The present study has been taken to know the nature and contents of articles in the journal IEEE Transactions on Mechatronics. The journal has published 508 articles during the study period. The maximum number of contributions is from collaborative authors (above three). The degree of collaboration is calculated as 0.99. This indicates the prevalence of team research. The highest number of pages is recorded as 1177 pages.
