Abstract


Immunology is a subdivision of biomedical science that shelters the study of all characteristics of the immune system in various organisms.It is concerned with the physiological operation of the immune system in the positions of health and diseases; breakdowns of the immune system in immunological syndromes (autoimmune diseases, hypersensitivities, immune deficiency, transplant rejection); the physical, chemical and physiological physiognomies of the modules of the immune system in vitroin situ and in vivo. Immunology has applications in numerous disciplines of science and technology. Even before the knowledge of immunity (from immunis, Latin for "exempt") was advanced, many primary physicians categorized organs that would in future ascertain to be fragment of the immune system. The crucial primary lymphoid organs of the immune system are the thymus and bone marrow, besides secondary lymphatic tissues such as spleen, tonsils, lymph vessels, lymph nodes, adenoids, and skinand liver.
