Class III Malocclusion and its Management: An Overview

Abstract


Angle’s Class III malocclusion is one of the most complex malocclusions which have several etiological factors. The etiology may be present at different levels of development like dental, skeletal and combination of both. The treatment modality depends upon the age and the severity of the malocclusion. In this article, we summarize the etiology, types, prevalence, characteristic features, diagnosis, different treatment methods for the Angle’s Class III malocclusion.
