Dr. Suchandra Bardhan is an architect with Masters in Landscape Architecture & PhD in Engineering and currently serves the Department of Architecture, Jadavpur University, Kolkata as a faculty member. With active interest in diverse areas of research, she has been involved with studies on Building and Environment since the last few years. She had been one of the recipients of the Best Paper Award at the 24th European Photovoltaic Solar Energy Conference and Exhibition held in Germany in 2009. With about fourteen years of research experience, her research papers have been published in many national and international journals and academic volumes. She serves as a member of two editorial boards (both national & international) and has been associated with several learned societies.

Dr. Anil Kumar Sachan is a Professor in the Civil Engineering Department of MNNIT, Allahabad. He received his Ph.D. Degree in 1990 from Kanpur University. Worked as a Lecturer in H. B. T. I. Kanpur from Dec 1984 to April 1991, subsequently became Reader in May 1991 in BIET Jhansi and promoted to the post of Professor in July 1999 and worked up to Jan 2008 in BIET Jhansi, then Joined MNNIT Allahabad as professor in Feb 2008. He is having 30 Years of Experience in the field of Structural Engineering. He is the author of 30 papers, completed 5 projects, organized many refresher courses and national seminars, visited many foreign countries. He is a well-known structural designer for building, bridges and water retaining structures. His Area of Expertise includes use of waste in construction, durability of concrete, use of waste in soil stabilization, structural health monitoring

Dr. Anitha Joseph is Professor in Department of Civil Engineering, TKM College of Engineering, Kollam, Kerala. Teaching experience: 28 years. B Sc. (Engg) degree in Civil Engineering from College of Engineering, Trivandrum, University of Kerala (1984), in First class with Distinction . M. Tech. degree in Structural Engineering from College of Engineering, Trivandrum, University of Kerala (1986), in First class . Ph. D. in Ocean Engineering (Offshore Structures) from Indian Institute of Technology Madras (2004).Areas of Professional Interest: Structural Engineering, Offshore and Coastal Structures, Experimental techniques, Instrumentation, Finite Element Analysis, Bathymetry modeling, Analysis and Design of Earthquake Resistant Structures.

Dr. Dinesh Kumar is working as an Assistant Professor in the Mechanical Engineering Department of Malaviya National Institute of Technology (MNIT) Jaipur. He received his Ph.D. Degree in 2011 from Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) Pilani and also worked there for 7 years as a Faculty in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. He is having 10 Years of Experience in the field of Teaching and Research. His Area of Expertise includes: Applied Solid Mechanics, Finite Element Methods, Fracture Mechanics, Mechanics of Nanocomposites.

Dr. R. Maheswaran is a Professor in the Mechanical Engineering Department of MEPCO Schlenk Engineering College, Sivakasi (Autonomous) affiliated to Anna University, Chennai, Tamilnadu. He received his B.E degree and M.E. degree from PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore affiliated to Bharathiar University, Coimbatore in 1988 and 1994 respectively. He received his/her Ph.D. Degree in “Heuristic Search Algorithms in Single Machine Scheduling” from Manonmanium Sundaranar University, Trinelveli, Tamilndu in 2005. He is having 26 Years of Experience in the field of technical education which includes more than 12 years of research. His Area of Expertise includes Search algorithms in engineering applications, Mechanics of composite materials, Wire ropes and electromechanical cables, Finite element methods, Nano fluids, Image processing. He is the author of 10 international journal publications and one book chapter. He is recipient of two sponsored research projects from NPOL, Kochi, DRDO Laboratory in the field of optimization of Sonar Calibration Boom and Torsional Characteristics of Electromechanical Cable.

Dr. G.S. Palani is a Scientist in CSIR-Structural Engineering Research Centre (CSIR-SERC), Chennai, one of the National Laboratories of Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR). He received his/her Ph.D. Degree in Computational Fracture Mechanics from Indian Institute of Science, Bangaluru in 2005. He has been working as a Scientist in CSIR-SERC for the last 26 years. He is having 26 Years of Experience in the field of Structural Engineering His Area of Expertise includes: advanced finite element analysis, computational Structural dynamics, fatigue and fracture analysis, steel structures analysis, design and testing and material science. He is the author of 60 papers in various International and National Journals, 75 papers in various Conference/Seminar/Workshop proceedings and over 100 technical reports, recipient of many Grants, awards etc.

Dr. K. G. Guptha is a Professor in Goa College of Engineering. He graduated in Civil Engg. from Gulbarga University in the year 1984. He pursued his Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering in the year 1987. He stood 2nd to the University. Later in the year 1988 he joined Goa Engg College as Lecturer in Civil Engg. He became Assistant Professor in GEC in the year 1993. He joined IIT Bombay for his Ph. D programme in the year 1998-99 and got degree in a record time of 3½ years. He also became Professor in the year 2005 selected by Goa Public Service Commission. Serving GEC as Head of the Dept. presently. He has published over a dozen papers in National/ International Journals and Conferences. He is Member of AICTE and NBA for affiliation and accreditation works. Government of Goa appointed him as Chairman for the advisory committee for Pollution under Control. Two patents pending with the patent authorities. He was a member of selection committee of several national bodies. Dr. Guptha conducted several training programmes, workshops and other seminars.

Dr. Kalyan Kumar Das has completed B.E (Hons.) in Mechanical Engineering from Gauhati University, Guwahati in 1993 with a First Class and stood first in the order of merit and won the University Gold medal. He has completed Master in Mechanical Engineering (M.M.E, Applied Mechanics) from Jadavpur University, Kolkata in 1995 with a first class. He has completed M.Tech in Aerospace Engineering from IIT Kharagpur in the year 2000. Kalyan Kumar Das has completed Ph.D in Aerospace Engineering from IIT Kharagpur in the year 2012. Das has published more than 30 papers in the international journals and proceedings of international conferences. Currently he is working as Associate professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Assam Engineering College (Government of Assam institute), Guwahati.

Dr. M. Zeinoddini is an Associate Professor in the Offshore and Marine Structures Department of Civil Engineering at the K.N.T. University of Technology. He received his Ph.D. Degree in Offshore Engineering from University of Surrey in 1999. He is having 28 Years of Experience in the field of Structural and Offshore Engineering. He is the author of 4 books, more than 120 technical papers in refereed journals and conferences, recipient of more than 10 grants and two times distinguished researcher awards. He led over 14 industrial research projects. He is the reviewer/member of editorial boards of a number of national and international journals. His Area of Expertise includes: Design of Offshore and Marine Structures, Construction of Marine Structures, Design of Structures against Explosion and Impact Loads, Non-Linear Structural Analysis, Fatigue in Structures and Offshore Structures, Shakedown and Ratcheting in structures, Dynamics of Structures

Dr. Prem Pal Bansal is an Assistant Professor in Department of Civil Engineering, Thapar University Patiala. He has obtained his bachelors, masters and doctoral degrees from Thapar University Patiala. He has nearly 18 Years of experience in teaching, research and consultancy in the area of structural engineering and repair and rehabilitation of structures. During this period he has taught various subjects such as Design of Concrete Structures, Design of Steel Structures, Structural Analysis, Bridge Engineering, Design of Masonry Structures, and Industrial Structures to both UG and PG students. He has undertaken research/Infrastructure projects worth 69 lakhs and undertaken consultancy works worth more than 1 crores sponsored by various Govt. and private organizations He has so far published 12 research papers in International, and National Journals and Conferences. He has supervised various M.E. thesis and supervising Ph. D. students, attended and organized international and national conferences, workshops and training programs. He is a life member of Indian Concrete Institute, ASCE (I) and also an Honorary Secretary of Indian Concrete Institute –Patiala Punjab Centre. He is on the panel of different Public Service Commissions, Universities, and Colleges as examiner, expert member of selection committees and paper setter.

Dr. Priyadarsini R. S. is an Associate Professor in the Civil Engineering Department of College of Engineering, Trivandrum at the University of Kerala. She received her Ph.D. Degree in Civil Engineering (Structural Engineering) from IIT Madras in 2012. She is having 14 Years of Experience in the field of teaching. Her Area of Expertise includes: Dynamics, Composite Structures, Smart structures, Structural Stability, Steel Structures etc. She is the recipient of Shree Gayathree Devi Award for the Ph.D. scholar in 2012 from IIT Madras.

Dr. Ramadhansyah Putra Jaya is a senior lecturer in the Faculty of Civil Engineering Department of Geotechnics and Transportation at the University of Technology Malaysia. He received his Ph.D. Degree in Civil Engineering from Universiti Sains Malaysia in 2011 and earned his postdoctoral from same university. Then worked as a senior lecturer and researcher in Geotechnics and Transportation Engineering Department at the University of Technology Malaysia for 3 Years. He is having 7 Years of Experience in the field of materials in civil engineering. His area of Expertise includes: Nano materials; Concrete technology; Road materials and Pavement design. He is the author of more than 50 Journal and International conference paper.

Dr Rajindra Kumar Pandit is a Professor & Head in the Architecture Department of Madhav Institute of Technology & Science, Gwalior at the University of Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya, Bhopal, MP. He received his Ph.D. Degree in Construction Management from Jiwaji University in 1999. He is having 30 Years of Experience in the field of Teaching. His Area of Expertise includes: Urban Development, Project Management & Reengineering. He is the authored 82 papers in Journals and Conferences of International level. He is the recipient Sponsored Research Grants from AICTE and UGC. To his credit is the conduction of dozens of Faculty Development Programs and has delivered more than 100 Expert Lectures at National and International Institutes of repute. He is guiding six students for PhD.

Dr. Subrata Chakraborty is a Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at the Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, Shibpur. He is a fellow of the Indian National Academy Engineering. He received his Ph.D. degree in Civil Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur in 1997 and was a postdoctoral researcher at University of Cambridge, UK and University of Arizona, USA and Technical University of Aachen, Germany. He is having more than twenty Years of Experience in teaching and research in the field of Structural Engineering. His Area of Expertise includes: Stochastic Finite Element Method and Sensitivity Analysis, Dynamic Analysis under Seismic, Wind and Blast load, Seismic Reliability and Vulnerability Assessment, Reliability under Hybrid Uncertainty, Robust and Reliability Based Optimization, Fiber Reinforced Concrete, Structural Health Monitoring, Vibration Control etc. He has authored of more than 100 technical articles in international journals and conference proceedings, book and book chapters. He is the recipient of the Humboldt Fellowships for Experienced Researcher, the INAE Young Engineer Award, the BOYSCAST Fellowship, the Young Faculty Research Award, the Suchit Kumar Ghosh Memorial Award etc.

Dr. Zeeshan Ali is an Associate Professor in the Mechanical Engineering Department at the Mehran University of Engineering and Technology (MUET). He received his/her Ph.D. Degree in Vehicle Control and Dynamics from University of Nottingham, UK in 2011. Currently working in MUET for last 10 Years. He is having 07 Years of Experience in the field of Adaptive Cruise Control Systems. His Area of Expertise includes: Engine Modeling, Automatic Transmission Systems, Vehicle Dynamic Control, ACC vehicles, Control Engineering, Process Optimization Software, Advanced Flexible Automation Cell (ROLLS-ROYCE, UK), Simulation and Modeling of a Wind Turbine, Simulation and Analysis, Development of Assembly Model, Assembly Optimization, Design and Fabrication of an Electric Car, Design, Fabrication, Testing, and Analysis of HHO generator which serves as a substitute fuel for conventional engine, thus, improves the efficiency and reduces pollutant gases concentrations in the emission.

Dr. P. Sivakumar, a civil Engineering graduate of Madurai Kamaraj University obtained his post-graduate and doctoral degrees in structural engineering from the Anna University, Chennai. He is currently Chief Scientist at CSIR - Structural Engineering Research Centre, Chennai. He has thirty years of research experience and carried out a number of R & D Projects, sponsored projects, and consultancy projects. He is a recipient of UNDP fellowship and CSIR-Technology Award -1999 for Engineering Technology. Under UNDP fellowship he visited Stanford University, USA, and Florida Atlantic University, USA. He is Fellow of Institution of Engineers (India), Member of Computer Society of India, Member of Indian Concrete Institute and Member of Instrument Society of India. He has published more than sixty papers in International and National Journals and Conferences. He has filed a patent on ‘Precast Concrete Lightweight Large Panel’. His areas of research interest include Structural Optimisation, Genetic Algorithms, CAD, AI, Mathematical modelling, Steel Lattice Towers, Prefabricated Buildings and construction technologies for societal development.

His area of interest are dams: all design and stability control aspects related to foundation and body of RCC, embankment and rock fill dams, foundation and abutments of gravity and Arch concrete dams, strength and deformation properties, permeability and seepage control measures, slopes: rock slopes and structures, waste disposal and land fill design, geo-environment,soil pollution and remediation technology and environmental impact assessment study of hydropower and dames. He reviewed various international review expert panals, he is also a member of various societies. He published various national and international papers with farsi/ persian language; as well as in conferences.
