Biography

Dr.Vinod Kumar Singh is an Associate Professor/Head of Department in the Electrical Engineering Department of S. R. Group of Institutions at the University of U.P.T.U. Lucknow. He received his Ph.D. Degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering from B.U. Rajasthan University in 2013 then worked as Lecturer in I.E.T.Bundelkhand University as well as in S. R. I. Datia. Also He worked as an Associate Professor/Head in S. R. Group of Institutions, Jhansi for four Years. He is having about 12 Years of Experience in the field of Electrical/Electronics Engineering. His Area of Expertise includes: Dual and Tripple band Microstrip Antenna, Ultra wide band and Textile Antenna. He is the author of Book Chapter in Springer.

Dr. M K Bhuyan is an Associate Professor in the department of Electrical and electronics engineering at IIT Guwahati. He has done his PhD from IIT Guwahati. His research interests include Image & Video Processing, Computer Vision, Pattern Recognition & Human Computer Interactions (HCI). Dr. M.K. Bhuyan has been awarded the National Award for "Best Applied Research/Technological Innovation" by Government of India. The award has been conferred by Honorable President of India at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi. He is currently engaged in extensive research in the area of Human Computer Interactions aiming at Indian Sign Language Recognition and Education. The award is in recognition of his contribution in this specific research domain.

Dr. Sumana Gupta is a Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology , Kanpur. She has done her PhD from London. Her Research interests include image processing, digital signal processing, video coding techniques, signals and systems, DSP Architecture.

Dr. Gunamani Jena is Professor (Principal) at Roland Institute of Technology, Berhampur, Odisha India. He Completed his Master Degree of Engineering in CSE from NIT, Rourkela, Orissa in 2001. Completed Ph.D from FM University, Balasore, Orissa. Through campus interview he was recruited as Asst Prof and Hod in CSE & IT in VITAM Engg college2000-2002. Worked as Assoc Prof and Head of CSE dept. in SISTAM Engg College, Srikakulam. He worked as Professor and Head of CSE department in BVC Engineering College, Odalarevu from Jan 2006-May 2012. He is also ratified as professor by JNTUK, Since May 2012 he has been working as Principal of Roland Inst of Technology(BPUT)Brahmapur . His area of interest is Image Processing, Signal Processing and Adaptive Channel Equalizers using Time Frequency Domain Transform and Neural Techniques. Published 10 papers in international journals and 30 papers in various International and national Conferences.

Dr. Rajiv Kapoor is a Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Delhi Technological University, formerly Delhi College of Engineering. He received his Ph. D degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering. His areas of interest comprises of Image Processing, Computer Vision, Signal Processing, Power Quality and Cognitive Radio. His publication includes various papers in International Referred Journals, papers in international conference proceedings also. He has filed 6 patents in the last three years. He is the author of the book GATE 2016 in the subject of Electronics and Communication Engineering.

Dr. Sajal K. Paul did his B.Tech, M.Tech, and Ph.D. in Radio Physics and Electronics from the Institute of Radio Physics and Electronics, University of Calcutta. He has served Webel Telecommunication Industries, Kolkata; Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), Kolkata; Advanced Training Institute for Electronics & Process Instrumentation (ATI-EPI), Hyderabad; North Eastern Regional Institute of Science & Technology (NERIST), Nirjuli and Delhi College of Engineering (DCE), Delhi in various capacities. He has served the Department of Electronics Engineering, Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad as Head of the Department. At present he is Head of the Centre for Innovation Incubation and Entrepreneurship, Indian School of Mines and Professor of the Electronics Engineering Department. His research interest includes Microelectronic Devices, Electronic Properties of Semiconductor and Bipolar and MOS Analog Integrated Circuits. Dr. Paul has more than 100 research publications in International and National journals of repute and conferences.

Dr. Abhijit Mitra did his PhD from IIT Kharagpur, Dr. Mitra served IIT Guwahati as a faculty member for nearly 8 years, till the end of 2011, and presently he is with Sir J C Bose School of Engineering, West Bengal, as a Senior Professor and Dean, R&D. His area of teaching and research expertise includes signal processing and wireless communication. Dr. Mitra has published nearly 125 peer reviewed journal and conference papers. He has also received a few national and international research awards, including URSI Young Scientist Award (Chicago, USA), INAE Summer Fellowship for Young Teachers (India) and N V Gadadhar Memorial Gold Medal (India). He was selected for DST Young Scientist Award Scheme through funded research project. He is a Fellow of IETE (India), a Senior Member of IEEE (USA) and an Associate of Indian Academy of Science. Dr. Mitra frequently visits different institutes in India for delivering popular talks in his expertise area. He has been a TPC member of many national and international conferences.

Dr. N. Venkateswaran earned his PhD from Anna University, Chennai in information and communication for his thesis in the area Image Compression and earlier obtained his M.Tech degree in Communication Systems from Pondicherry Engineering College, Pondicherry University. Before joining with SSN college of Engineering, he was Professor at Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering, Sriperumbudur. He has more than 25 years of teaching, research and industry experience. He has published over 25 papers in National and International journals and more than 30 papers in national and International Conferences. He has organized and conducted four FDP Programmes and One National Conference. He is a research supervisor in the fields of Signal and Image processing and Wireless Communications. He is currently supervising six Ph.D scholars, doing research in the area of signal , image processing and wireless Communications.
